SHOT BY SHOT ANALYSES

Image
The medium shot allows us to see the surrounding of the location which is the escalator. This shot shows the police squad facial reaction therefore in this case the police squad facial reaction is a suspicious reaction and therefore this builds tension to the audience, they would want to find out more, they want to know what is going to happen to Tom Cruise, they heads will be all over the place thinking if Tom Cruises is going to get caught or escape and how this is going to happen . The way the squad layout looks like something negative has happened and the way the main police is in the front shows us that he is the main police officer. This shot is a long shot. A long shot allow the audience to see the location. 1) Three camera shots: - The opening establishing shot clearly shows a caravan driving past and the camera was just still, this creates suspense because the way after the establishing shot straight goes to a close up shot where a man is sweating and squinting this show that there is trouble or something which is not right.    - The over the shoulder shot mainly shows the groups emotions clearly in this case they have a negative looking emotion (suspicious) this creates more suspense and more tense because the man is looking at the group this does not show the man's facial reaction. The man laying on the floor shows us that something bad has happened. - The extreme close up shot mainly shows the weapon to show danger because if a weapon is included that means there is something bad is going to happen. The weapon is a fire arm so there for it creates suspense because we don't know what going to happen. 2)  Two camera angles: - The Character is shown in a high ang

This make the audience think is it going to be a positive calm day they will think there isn't going to be any action scene. we used a long shot to show the full image size of the person. this makes the audience think something suspicious is going to happen. Medium shot was taken to show my casual appearance. The audience would think that I am a casual person but am I though.  close up shot was taken to show my emotions. The audience would think that I am going to do something negative by look at my appearance.  over the shoulder shot to show clearly what i'm doing at the over shoulder shot is not giving any clue of what i'm doing whether i'm stealing the phone or using it by asking for it. There are no emotions. This shows the audience that I am going to do something stupid.  long shot to show that Haaris is chasing me because I robbed his phone. The audience would feel angry beca

You must add much more depth to your media analysis. This means writing paragraphs rather than sentences. For example, on the WaterAid advert you only offer one sentence each for denotation and connotation. To reach the top grades, you will need to be writing far more than this. Look at this example to see what I mean: http://ishachana2.blogspot.co.uk/2017/09/denotation-and-connotation.html . Also see Assia and Ashwarya’s blogs for depth that I require at GCSE. Missing a lot of work –  LIAR analysis? LR: Complete and post missing work as a matter of urgency. Poor analysis of Sherlock clip – re-do. Then, reflect on your first month of Media.
