What is passive audience?Passive audience is the view that audiences take in information from the media that has the same effect on everyone.
What is active audience?Active audience is the more modern and generally accepted view that audience interact with the media they consume.
What is Hypodermic Needle theory?
The Hypodermic Needle theory is a linear communication theory that suggests that media messages are injected directly in to the brain of passive audiences.

INFORMATION/SURVEILLANCE:To learn about something you didnt know.
IDENTITY:Audience personally relating to something. 
DIVERSION/ENTERTAINMENT:Putting something off(changing the route) E.G. Do revison but the decide to play ps4.
RELATIONSHIPS:Caring about the character.

How: On the clip this show us what life would be like living underwater and at 2:59 it says going to places where you never been before and see creature which you never came across before, this gives us information.

How:This is shown on 2:59 because is show us the peaceful environment underwater how calm it would be.

General Watch this trailer for BBC's Posh People - a documentary about Tatler, the oldest magazine in Britain. 1) Based on the trailer, what type of people produce and read Tatler? 1) What year was the advert produced? The OMO print advert was produced in the 1950s. 2) How were women represented in most adverts in the 1950s? The women in most of the 1950s advert were represented as a slave, this is because they do all the chores while their husband goes work, their only job is to   do the cleaning and to look attractive in front of their husband. 3) How does the heading  message ('OMO makes whites bright') and typography promote the product?
