Introduction to advertising: blog task Create a new blogpost called 'Advertising conventions'. Find your own print advert and copy and paste it into your blog post. Answer the questions below: 1) What conventions of an advert can you find and what are the connotations of each one? The conventions you can find in the skittle print advert above is: Picture of the product and the picture also reinforces the word"RAINBOW" because the picture shows us the product in different colour which are in the rainbow.      The logo is bright and eye catching and the yellow mini background at the back of the product connotes happiness,sunshine and positive things. The background emphasis the word"RAINBOW" because of the fact that there is so many skittles and in different types of colours to show variety and excite a target audience. General Watch this trailer for BBC's Posh People - a documentary about Tatler, the oldest magazine in Britain. 1) Based on the trailer, what type of people produce and read Tatler? Consider demographics and  psychographics. Middle class and upper middle class people read Tatler. People who are rich buys these type of magazines and read them. These people either has a good job or they are from a rich family for e.g members of the aristocracy(people who owns big houses) and educated people.  2) Look at the  Tatler Media Pack 2018 .
